A marathon is a long-distance running event of 42.195 km. This time marathon contains of 4 sub category.

Marathon Open: Runners should be (18 years & above)
(Citizenship/Passport/Driving License with Date of birth necessary)
Marathon Masters 40+: Runners should be (40 years – 49 years)
(Citizenship/Passport/Driving License with Date of birth necessary)
Marathon Masters 50+: Runners should be (50 years – 59 years)
(Citizenship/Passport/Driving License with Date of birth necessary)
Marathon Masters 60+: Runners should be (60 years and above)
(Citizenship/Passport/Driving License with Date of birth necessary)

Race Day:	Saturday, 1st November 2025
Race Reporting Time:	5:00 AM
Meeting Point and reporting desk:	Tripureshwor Road, In fornt of Dasarath Stadium,Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal
Race starting time:	5:30 AM
Race starting Point:	Dasrath Rangashala, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu
Packet pickup dates/Locations:	All participants must pick up their Bib, T-shirt, and goodie bag. [ Date: 25th and 26th October 2025 ]

Awards Ceremony will be held immediately after the race at 10.30 AM Saturday, 1st November 2025 at Start Point.
All finishers of the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K Open, 5K Open, 3K Open, and 3K School categories will receive an e-certificate and a Finisher’s Medal. Participants of the 3K Family Run Kids will receive: Finishers Medal. Know more about prize and rewards
All participants will be provided with e-certificate of participation
All runners without 17th Kathmandu Marathon 2025 bibs will be directed off the course immediately.

Bib Collection Notice

Participants must collect their T-shirt and bib number between 25th October and 26th October.
If a participant is unable to attend on these dates, they may send someone else on their behalf to collect the items. The representative must carry a valid authorization or registration confirmation.
Please note: Bibs will not be distributed after 26th October under any circumstances.

Note

Incomplete registration will be disqualified.
NRS Sports Foundation will have final rights to accept or reject any registration.
